Experience

You Can Trust

KCITGUY is a one-person operation run by me, Jamie. I have spent most of my life working with computers – long before it was trendy or easy. I hold 2 bachelor’s degrees, one in Psychology and one in Computer Science, and I’ve been building, fixing and breaking technology since I was a kid who learned programming on outdated equipment with no instructions, manuals or guidance.

After earning my Computer Science degree, I worked in high-level technical roles, including those within major companies like Oracle, Sprint, and AMC Theatres. Over time, I realized I enjoyed hands-on problem-solving more than corporate environments. I started KCITGUY to do the kinds of work that I am best at – fixing real problems for real people without the unnecessary layers or sales pressures.

Health challenges later forced me to slow down and completely leave the corporate world. I had to rethink how I was going to work. That shaped KCITGUY into what it is today, a focused, practical service built on experience, honesty, and reliability. I may work independently, but I bring decades of professional knowledge to every job.

KCITGUY exists to keep your systems working, your data safe, and your technology dependable – without noise.
